Seanna Robinson

Seanna Robinson

Head Coach
Seanna is an NCCP competition certified coach with over 25 years of coaching experience. As the head coach for Culture Athletics she has coached athletes to PB’s and Boston Qualifying times, along with achieving successes with 5K and 10K specialists. She is concurrently the assistant head distance coach at York University where she trains and develops competitive varsity athletes on the track and in cross- country. Seanna is a longtime competitive athlete who still finds joy and curiosity in her own training and racing. From 1500m on the track to marathons and even the odd Ironman, she trains and competes in events that feel like the right challenge for the moment.
PB’s: 1500m – 4:36, 5K - 17:36, 10K – 36:40, Marathon – 2:51, Half-Marathon – 1:21, Ironman – 10:38

Monica Black

Assistant Coach
With 30 years of experience ranging from sprint hurdles to the marathon, Monica brings a wealth of knowledge to the GT coaching crew. Currently, she specializes in the 5km—a distance she loves for its "sweet and spicy" balance of speed and endurance. A Toronto resident for 15 years, Monica joined the Culture community in 2022, where she focuses on building a strong, connected running community.

Bernard has been a staple of the Culture Community since our doors opened in 2018. Though his goals go beyond the competitive arena, his drive to master movement is unmatched. He prioritizes the fundamentals, believing that a strong base is the only way to reach peak performance. If you're looking to build your skills from the ground up, Bernard is the guy to talk to.
