Going beyond the essentials, we take a holistic approach to athletic development.
Our program places emphasis on form, power and the mental aspects of running to bring out the best in our athletes. That is why our program offers so much more than just weekly in-person workouts.

What's included

With the guidance of our experienced coaches, our program consists of...

  • Weekly strength and drills sessions
  • Weekly tempo runs + speed workouts (track work/intervals/hills)

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

TUES 6:00am - Virtual full-body Circuit

  • Video recording shared afterward

WED 7:30pm - Group Threshold Workout (intervals, track work, hills, etc.)

  • Indoor track sessions at Monarch Park start January 8th (until end of March). Every third week we are outside for hills.
  • Outdoor workout locations vary each week, but all are located in the eastend of Toronto.
  • The cost of the indoor track use is included in your membership.

SAT 8:30am - Tempo Run

  • Start/finish at the shop (972 Queen St E)

SUN 8:00am - Long Run

  • Start/finish at the shop (972 Queen St E)

All sessions are led by our experienced and friendly training staff.

HARD WORK -- IT'S BETTER WITH FRIENDS

At Culture Athletics we believe that hard work, inspiration, and improvement is best shared with others. That's why the social nature of running is at the centre of our program. Our diverse community is inviting and supportive -- and does an awesome job in bringing out the best in each other.

"It's not supposed to be easy, but it is supposed to be fun." 

This is our central tenet and we live it through and through.

THERE's TWO MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

RACE-SPECIFIC - $80/MONTH

This is our more comprehensive membership level.

Our coaching staff will give you an extensive training calendar that will strategically build your fitness to peak on Race Day and will adjust your programming as needed along the way.

Utilizing our comprehensive library of training calendars and our coaching staff will work with you to determine which is best suited for your experience and goals. From there, we will account for any special considerations in your training.

This level of membership also includes monthly 1-on-1 check-ins throughout the training calendar to review progress, discuss any issues/considerations and to create an effective raceplan.

Our race-specific calendars are 10-16 weeks long depending on the race distance. Ideally new athletes register before the calendar begins, but we will accept athletes in the first half of the training cycle. Later than that athletes will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.


This membership is great for...

  • Someone looking to run their first half or full marathon.
  • Someone looking for a meaningful and progressing relationship with their coach.
  • Runners looking to PB on their next race.
  • Experienced runners that have plateaued or are struggling to hit an elusive PB.
NON RACE-SPECIFIC - $60/MONTH

This is an "always on" program.

This means it doesn't focus on training you for one specific race/moment. Rather, it provides weekly structure and workouts to consistently improve your running skillset and fitness level.

This membership is very comprehensive and contains all in-person elements of the Race-Specific membership (and email correspondence with our coaching staff), but doesn't include any 1-on-1 check-ins or personalization in programming. That being said, our coaching staff will always be hear to help guide you along your running journey!


This membership is great for...

  • New runners looking to add structure to their running, develop proper form and increase their mileage in a safe/strategic way. 
  • Experienced runners just looking for group workouts and others to push them.
  • Social runners just looking for a good time and fun community.

Our Head Coach, Seanna Robinson has been working with high-level athletes for decades and seen exceptional success. Whatever your goals, we can get you there.

Social Runners

Are you a casual or social runner? Fitness omnivore looking to spice up your fitness routine? Our group workouts are an amazing way to hone your skills as a runner and get motivated by those around you.

NOTICE: BRAND NEW RUNNERS

We recommend that you can run for approximately 5km (at any speed) before joining the program. If you are still building up to 5km, here's a great couch to 5km program from Runner's World we highly recommend. Also please shoot us an email at training@cultureathletics.com and we'll be able to best advise on when you should join the group!
