This foam composition is influenced by our METASPEED™ racing models. Its lightweight formulation is met with bouncy properties that are functional for everyday running.
The shoe features a new trampoline pod shape that's strategically designed into the outsole. This design function helps create a more energized feel while exiting the toe-off stage of your stride.

'The Superblast is a super trainer that can be used for a full marathon training block, especially long runs, zone 2 workouts, and can push into zone 3. Compared to the Superblast 2, with the inclusion of FF LEAP foam on top of FF BLAST, you get a highly responsive and bouncy feel while still maintaining stability. The fit is true to size, with a secure upper and a roomy (enough) toe-box. 'There are very few shoes in the running industry that not only live up to the hype, but also manage to continue the legacy of the model before them, and the Superblast 3 is one of them. ASICS somehow refined what was already one of the best all-around trainers without losing the character that made the Superblast line so popular. The ride feels lighter, smoother, and more energetic while still maintaining the support that defines the shoe. Whether I am heading out for an easy 10 km or a long 30 km run with pick-ups, it never feels out of place. Rather than chasing dramatic changes, ASICS focused on meaningful refinements, and the result is a shoe that feels both familiar and noticeably better.
